In both Y6S and Y6K, they have been learning how to make comics and what they need in them. They have had lots of fun planning their comics out and are starting to make their comics! There are a lot of great ideas and pictures that have been drawn and all are interesting. Year 6 are a creative bunch with different ideas yet all incredible.
In Year 6 on Wednesday, they became constructors of a Bailey Bridge and tested how much it could hold with a length of 30 or more cm. One team held 6.4kg and another 0.5kg. It was fun, nerve-racking and very interesting.
A bridge being tested…the other way around.
